i will explain your my story...
i blown a engine,bought a another one with a broken crAnk and used mine
i brought it to machnist for a getting it a little honing(but block was very good)
i called him the day after to tell hin the cylinder aree in frm...but he told me he already know that..(ball are less aggressive than stone honing)
so ...and the block was already done!
so i come and pick up my block..
he told me he did it...but not with rigid stone but with balls ...and did the job "molô''(not hard on the cylinder)
he called the day after and tell
me that the engine might not works,cause he dont know if he went
trought the frm...we try tried to take the bore diameter on a cylinder but the cylinder look to be .002 not round..

i know engine was very good with high compression when i brought it..
so i doń´t know what to do,what i should do...

What is the true bore diameter? The cylinder themselves can be taken to 87.25mm (0.01" over) but would require oversized pistons to match.

 

Buy a new block.

 

it has not been bored... only ball honed!
