I guess it's possible but not sure if it's needed or even advisable?
There is plenty of thread engagement and the threaded hole is already slightly poking through the bottom of the belt groves.
The other pulley looks the same so I did not mess up the drilling, I will try and clean it up some though, don't want to risk damaging the belt.
I borrowed a nice bottom tap from a friend and done all the holes, picture is right after tapping so it might look worse than it is.
Oh, NVM. For some reason I thought the thick, ungrooved area of crank pulley, that these bolts thread into was taller, larger diameter than where the belt grooves are. Thinking you could drill clean through just that half inch or so thick ungrooved area without drill into groove area.
Reality is its only slightly larger diameter than grooved area. Not enough to drill clean through without drilling into or at least undermining grooves.
