When I went in to get my tune (about 4 hours long), the tuner spent about 2 hours on my partial throttle tune alone on a dynojet, then he went for power pulls (WOT) for about an hour or so, and the car feels amazing, no bogging, no hesistaions, drives like factory besides the whirring.

Partial throttle tuning is more time consuming and may be expensive but makes the car feel so much better to drive and is well worth it, as far as the rich codes, doesn't the berk testpipe come with a CEL fix?

Sam, thanks for the info. I think thats where I need to spend some time to do some partial throttle tuning. BTW I don't have a testpipe, I have the Berk HFC.

Nightcrawler that's really nice that you got a certified tuner. I might still try calling Greddy to see if they have any tuners in my area. I'll see how we do with this tune and if it doesn't work out I'll try another shop.

maybe you could give the shop that's going to do my tuning a call and see what they hve to say..the tuner's name is Toan and he's an easy guy to talk to and present with questions...maybe you could even work out a transaction where he emails you editions to that map or something...i know it's a longshot but still worth a call. it's PTuning in Manassas, VA--(703)257-1728

Comptech used to advise NOT to run a high flow cat with the SC. Stock cat and test pipe were both recommended. Never heard the reason though.

I had called them years ago when they sold high flow cats and wanted to order one. They said don't do it if you will SC one day.

So you ran out of patience for the "other kit"! I could tell by one of your posts that you had to jump now. Congrats on the Comptech kit. You'll be thrilled you did it once you get it sorted.

You might want to call Morgan Peetz at Acura of Portland. (At least I think he's still there. He is in the area one way or the other since NSXPO is going on in Portland this weekend and he's speaking today at one of the events). He used to do a bunch of Comptech installs on S2000's and NSX's in Portland. I don't know who did the tuning, but he would be THE guy to help. WOS (Will) used to have a perfectly setup 2003 S that Morgan did and it was amazing.

Thanks for your input Harpoon, I'll look into that. I had the HFC with the CTSC and 7psi and it was great and pulled really strong with not a single bog or hesitation. Hopefully I can get it dialed in better and then I'll be happy with it. Its just that the bogging is getting annoying.

Overall I'm still very happy with my choice and have no regrets over the other kit.

Anybody have a map that they would like me see?

I just saw in your signature line that Rrev tuned your car. Who did the tuning there?

Rrev has a great reputation. You might want to talk to Horsepower Freaks also if Rrev can't make you happy. King Motorsports is selling the Kraftwerks kit and a couple of the guys there think Horsepower Freaks is a great option for install and tuning of the you-tune kit. If that's the case, they probably can handle any system out there for the car.

So far I like Tom and the Rrev staff. They have been pretty good to me. It just takes some time for everything to work right. Hopefully I can get everything to work out. If not then I'll look into other options. John Reed use to part-own/work there but he's no longer there and no one knows where he went.

HP Freak is not working on anybody's car at this time. They're working really hard on their production turbo kits for the M3 from the last I talked to them.

Thanks for the advice

Another question for everyone FI'd. Under partial throttle you should be running lean correct? And at idle it should be about 14 while under partial throttle it should be between 14-15? But once it hits boost it should be run rich.

Sorry for all the questions still a noob.
