Default CTSC : upping the boost.

Looking to move to about 10psi ..

Shopping list :-

650cc injectors
3.25 pulley
AEM ecu (or emanage).

Can someone please tell me what type of injectors I need (links to for sale would be good please)?

Where can I order a pulley from? Being in the UK, I'd need one shipping out.

I have a separate wideband, so can I use the non Uego version of the AEM ecu (the piggy pack seems to have stalled).

I've just had the car dyno'ed and had issues with the VAFC, when trying to add fuel, the ECU would pull the timing (160wbhp dyno runs were not impressive).

Cheers guys.

Ben.

You can get everything from here Ben.

AEM http://automotivespeed.com/product_info.ph...&products_id=30

Pulley and belt. http://automotivespeed.com/product_i...roducts_id=251

Injectors (750's are better) http://automotivespeed.com/product_i...products_id=67

You only made 160? was that with 5 or 7psi, not good numbers.

Was 160 with the vafc trying to add fuel. The ECU seemed to not like it at all.

When it was set to zero .. 286bhp (241 @ fly) on a very safe fuel pressure.

Maxxed injectors though.

Cheers for the links Mark ..

I can spec the pulley and belt, are the injectors anything special (connectors or type)?
The ECU is down to $1300 on Ebay .. but then the shipping (and duty/tax) is going to be a killer.

10 lbs. is a lot for the SC. Good luck. Keep us informed on your progress.

If you get the RC injectors like nearly every one uses your gonna need injector clips.

http://automotivespeed.com/product_info.ph...products_id=151

Those clips are plug and play, no soldering need.

Look on the USA for sale, there was a AEM 1052 for a 1000 bucks earlier today might be sold now as it was a good price.

Is 10 psi going to be a bit high on your Jap compression, might be a bit too fruity?

Another one for mase in march maybe? (he could bring everything you need with him so no import duties)

What is the best method to contact mase?
Is it to just PM him, or should i contact him via a UK contact.

10psi might be a bit much, the problem is there is a lot of conflicting info on these forums about the max boost on a stock engine.

I ran the 3.25" pulley on stock compression until I melted a plug. Tuning is critical, but the setup is doable. We also took the motor to 9800 rpm. 372rwhp with a testpipe and Invidia dual exhaust. The valvetrain was lightened and exhaust valves oversized- no port-n-polish.

Doesn't Seimens make injectors in 650cc? Aren't they out of Germany?
