Default custom Comptech intercooler setup

Just thought i'd share my intercooler setup that i made using inlinepros intercooler piping, and an off-brand intercooler with the near same dimensions as the precision 600.
I still need to figure out an intake setup, ANY IDEAS?
Also wheres a good (clean) place to relocate the coolant resevoir? Doesnt it have to be level with the radiator?

how will you know if your effort is worth something..how do you plan on doing a back to back comparison to the OEM aftercooler?

By the way the setup looks Sick.

Glad to see you followed some of the advice I gave you about the piping!
For SC, I think its better if you put the BOV at the other side i.e. the cold side closer to the throttle. As far as the intake for the SC is concerned, the easiest solution is the mushroom type, otherwise you would have to do an intake similar to a CAI for NA to draw cold air...

Fun custom project! Well, the intake is going to be tough because the intercooler piping appears to be covering the standard wheel-well location. Can you route it just above the intercooler piping in the left front lower air intake in the bumper? I am trying to think what might be block that.

For intake, I would do a short 90 degree elbow with a nice mushroom/k&n filter and then get an AUT plate with the scoop to direct cool air towards it.

this is what i was going to try, but im not sure if the cost or length of the pipe would be better than just slapping a 20 dollar mushroom filter on there, as i already have my hood vented.
A custom intake routed to the left bumper well would cost around 150, as those large 3.5 alluminum intake pipes that are tight radius are expensive.

yeah the day after you mentioned it there was a set of pipes up for sale, so i jumped on em.... as for the bov it's there to save the supercharger so i see no benefits of placing it near the throttle body, and thats was the only place i could fit it.

try turning the BOV to face the exact opposite side and you might be able to sqeeze a filter in the corner there where it used to be but not using the box
