For the second time I am going to have to swap out my CV joint cup things. I guess being lowered and the added power made a new indention so anytime the car is under load, it vibrates violently, like the car is going to come apart. I already swapped the cups so what are my options? Can I get like spacers for the cups or just by the cups themselves?

There's a place up your way that sells whole remanufactured axles for $60-80, id just get those, someone posted a link in my thread where I popped an axle, wish I knew someone up there to send me some

 

Actually I think mine are done too I noticed it just prior to blowing the head gasket and since you posted I just remembered another thing added to the list.

 

^ yea, and it gets very bad quick , sucks donky balls And forget about going WOT the car shakes to the point where I feel like its about to explode

Yeah its starts off not to bad but doesn't take long to get REAL bad. I haven't done it yet but I assume its not that hard and doesn't take too long.

 

^ Yea I swapped the right to left about 2 years ago, I did it with the axle still on, I had bloddy knuckles for weeks. Hoping Jeff can do it this time, I just need to know where to get the parts. Hopefully I can just get the cup

 

Get some driveshaft spacers.. I had the bad vibration and switched in some t1r spacers and the vibration has been gone for 15- 20k miles now.

 

In the wheel and tire section there's a sticky about spacers for lowered cars. U should check it out.

 

Ok, I heard the Spacers have a habit of failing and causing catastrophic crashes blah blah. Am I mistaken?

Ok, I found E-Bay Drive Shaft One peice spacers for 100.00 I think I am going with these. I can probably re-use the OEM bolts right? I figure the spacers dont really take much abuse, they are aluminum so I should be ok? I dont want top spend the money on new CV cups, they are very expensive

 

I don't know if I understand why the spacer would prevent the CV cups from wearing ? I feel like it has more to do with having the power we have and then doing 4th gear pulls every time I drive
