Default damn! wrong map sensor

i have an ap2. i just bought a used hondata 4-bar not knowing it was the wrong one. are the 2 map sensors the exact same thing just with different shape or are they totally different as far as how they read pressure. can i wire the ap1 style map sensor into my ap2 harness or am i totally screwed??? they are both 3 wire sensors

please help

The 2000 (AP1)-2005 (AP2) use the same map sensor. Also, no wires to splice. It's a plug and play install.

Yes you can make it work. You just have to run the the correct wires to it and run vac to it.

Leave the stock one in its location to cover the hole. The non Dbw won't fit there.

Didn't realize that you have an 08 (suppose I should have looked at your username lol). The 06+ use a different map sensor. I would recommend picking up the correct part.

of course getting to correct one would be best but if i cant sell this one i dont want to be out 100 bucks. if worst comes to worst i could make this work, seems pretty straight forward on wiring it up. just want to make sure it can be done and it will read the map as it should

I understand. They are both 0-5v. Pretty sure the only difference is the housing/mounting bolt.
