dude it's beastly, I didnt realize I must have lost some power with the blown HG, between that fix and the cooler temps the car is rocketship, blows the tires off in 1-4th gear and wants to break lose in 5th when the tires are cold, good thing for low boost

You must be getting old if you've resorted to settling down with a Vette.
I wonder if this is why Steve got rid of the S and got the Vette? LOL

I think all this means don't buy precision turbos...
I'm tired of their sh't constantly breaking...
Everyone I know with a Precision turbo and issues was using one of their ball bearing turbos. I haven't heard nearly as much (but still some stuff) about their journal bearing turbos.

Lots of bad precision journal bearing turbo failures. My first 5965 had bad seals within 3k miles. The replacement ball bearing unit was bad out of the box.

Scott, I'm really bummed your selling the S...

same, I made 578 @23 psi in April (dyno day was high 70's), so with the cooler weather (45-54F and 22lbs I am probably up there 580-590iah)

Its amazing to literally get pushed back in the seat when you go WOT in 5th gear, lol

Nope, no more Black, the S is black and so was my Trans Am. Both were wetsanded and polished after purchasing to bring them up to my standards and I regularly polish them to keep them looking like black chrome but I am sick of it.
What year Trans Am did you have? Got pics? (I had an '85 TA and a '95 Formula before getting the S.)
