my brother has the Inlinepro stage 1 log kit and was wondering if he can install the DEI turbo blanket with the turbo and manifold on the car??
or if you guys know a method to install it while everything is on the car?

 

I seriously doubt you'll be able to install this while the turbo/manifold are bolted to the engine. I'd say yes on a top mount, but no chance on a bottom mount. Prepare to remove your turbo/manifold.

 

It can be done, just takes a little patients. It took me about five minutes of slowly working it on ( it is a tight fit around the exhaust housing ) And then I used safety wire to hold it together (using the two hooks on the sides of the turbo blanket). I don't know how many variations dei makes but I have the t3 titanium

 

what about the gaskets, are they reusable?
