This is some good info and id like to know too. Also, if you look at my last post on andyfloyd's topic of 'thinking of raising the redline', i listed the price difference inline pro and laskey for the exact same head build. Big difference in price there.

What brand are "inline pro" rod's ?

For a 700whp build both deal's seem like a good deal! I wanted to be able to support a little bit more so I went my own route.

My bottom end cosist of golden eagle oringed sleeved block, coated acl race bearings, pauter rod's, and custom made cp pistons (different from the off the shelf ones)

Part's costed me:
ACL bearings: 200
CP Pistons: 800
Pauter Rods: 775
GE Block: 1100
Total: 2875 (just parts)

That's before any machine work or assembley.

If you don't mind us asking kut, how much was the final cost?

I haven't completed anything yet so I'm unsure of the total at this point and time.

I've also purchased all new valvetrain as well.

When I get the motor back it'll be 100% assembled and ready to be dropped in the car. I will have the whole long block assembled. Additional cost of items like water pump, oil pump, gaskets, etc. arent included in this cost either.

IP is supposed to be able to handle 1000. if you have the extra money, go with the stroker. it will do wonders for your tq. Plus the engines they build are the SHIT. Mr Allen is extremly anal and does not let stuff leave half assed. you will be very pleased with Inline Pro

The inlinePRO connecting rods are manufactured specifically for us.

They are BILLET 4340 connecting rods. Our motor in our blue car, are the same blocks you guys can get. We don't do anything special to our motors that you, as a customer wouldn't get.

The only option on our short block in our blue car, is it is O-Ringed, but customers have the ability to use that too.

Sleeves are AEBS sleeves. We have yet seen a sleeve sink in our motors. If a customers sleeve has sunk and leaked, no one has yet let us know. If it DOES happen, send the block back in and we'll take care of it.

With our motors, EVERYTHING is done in house. Nothing is outsourced at all. Motors are torn down, cleaned, sleeved, machined, balanced, blueprinted, and assembled all in 1 place.

Seth, you can give me a call if you have any questions about our motor program.

Very cool!
I wish you weren't on the other side of the d@mn country though...
Laskey on the other hand is a 30 minute drive for me.

I'll worry about all of that when/if I start a bottom end build. I'll probably upgrade to the inline tubular at that time also if it ever happens..

looking for huge power huh? i thought you were gonna push the stock block to 800ish whp? I think when i go for a built block it will definatly be an INLINE PRO, only because they are so s2000 oriented, Laskey builds AWESOME stuff too....
