I'm gonna be going back to a stock OEM Headgasket and will be using my old gear from an 02 F20C motor since it still has the little pin in the gear. I was comparing it to my current 08 F22C one and the markings are different so I'm questioning it. The part numbers are the same on Majestic Honda so who knows. One has 2, 3, and 1 dots and the other only has that one dot. Here's the pic.

 

You don't need the pin in the gear for the OEM gasket, just line it up, put some locktite on the bolts and tq them down.

 

Or swap the pins

 

that pin is a bitch to get out if you don't have a good punch. Or i can just mail you my pin lol, it's sitting in my drawer next to the S.

 

Those dots just look like balancing but I could be wrong...

 

Why would I swap pins when I have two sets of gears? If there's no difference then I'll just throw in the old one.
