Default dipstick keeps popping out

i have the PV1009 one way valve on the line coming out of the valvecover in front of the dipstick and the line behind the dipstick that goes to the intake manifold. but my dipstick keeps popping out after spirited driving. when i first put them in, there was pressure, because it was hard to pull out the dipstick, and when i did, there was the huge whoooosh sound. can it cause damage to not have the suction inside the valvecover so my dipstick keeps popping out? i read a thread about needing to have the one way valves on those lines because it's bad for boost to get in there.

stick something on the top of your dipstick so it fills the gap between the hood and dip stick. Then the hood will keep the dipstick down!!!! ghetto, but it would probably work! =P

yea before when i flipped it the other way, it never popped out. but that doesn't change the fact that there's pressure inside there when there shouldn't be...or does it not matter whether there's pressure in there? cause according to sideways' thread, you're not supposed to have too much pressure inside there.

well, too much is subjective unless you measure the pressure. maybe the seal on your dipstick is just overworn, making it easier to pop out? or maybe you really do have 'too much' pressure. There's always going to be a certain amount while the engine is running.

so have you checked to see if your one way valve is setup correctly? If the crank case isnt seeing boost from the IM, then its blow-by from the pistons!
