Default Do I need to plug either of these lines?

Sigh, I wish we had VFAQ for the S2K engine bay like we did the 1G/2G engine bays so I wouldn't have to ask this question, maybe someone smart will make one sometime (www.vfaq.com check it out).

ANYHOW: My question is this, in the pictures below, I have outlined 2 vacuum lines, one I believe to be comming from the crankcase, the other...no idea. I am wondering if these lines need to be capped with a vacuum cap or left along or if I need to put a breathe filter on the one I belive to be comming from the crankcase (it sucks in air). Simple question, I know, I just don't know and have searched for engine bay pics seeing what others have done but haven't found a zoomed enough pic to determine which line is which.

Pic1: This picture displays the pipe next to the one I have routed to the bov as a pressure source. I have no idea if it needs to be capped or not, it is outlined in yellow.

Pic2: This picture shows the one I believe is the crankcase line (outlined in yellow), I'm thinking I need a breather filter for it, I picked the car up from Inline Pro with it as shown in the pic, but I'm pretty sure it needs a breather filter b/c it is sucking in air. Let me know what should be done with this.

Last note, sorry for the ghetto'd ms paint, but it was the only program I had at the moment.

Put a krank vent and a filter on the one that goes the the crankcase.

The other one goes to the air pump.

Do you still have that if so you need to close that loop up some how, if not just leave it as is, nothing can get sucked in thier.

Sigh, I figured I would need a krank vent and filter on the one going to the crankcase, grr. I don't have the $$ as of current, but will see what I can muster. As for the one going to the air pump, I have a vacuum cap (since I not longer have the air pump hahaha...) I can put on it (see second pic outlined in red) if that would work.

I decided to go ahead and buy the krankvents, but automotive speed is taking forever to ship them and they won't be here til next friday, is this a hazard leaving the crankvent pipe open like that? I know nothing's happened so far, but I don't want to have a ticking timebomb on my hands.

Regardless you are going to need a filter, so go put that on for the meantime and then when your vents come in, put that inline

jonathan, in that first picture you can just get a rubber nipple to cap that pipe off.

In the second picture you can remove that pipe all together and put a little breather filter directly onto the valve cover. You can find those at any automotive store. I read that you purchased the krank vents so that will be installed where the breather filter would go. It is not unsafe to leave to that piece uncovered for the time being.

We have a new product that works in conjunction with our turbo kit for EGR system. I would have to talk to Ya today and see if those are available for sale yet. Its a nice quality piece, i have it on my car now and looks real nice with our new fuel rail.
