After the install can you start boosting it full redline?

 

no break in is needed. just get it installed and have fun!

after couple hundred miles you need to tighten the belt....

I would just check the fittings for any leaks, and check the belt.

 

oh ok how long does that take to tighten belt? is it after 500?

 

I think it was something like 300 .....don't remember ....it shoud be in the manual.

250-400 for vortech, im assuming it would b roughly the same for comptech.

 

The correct interval for tightening the belt is when the belt stretches to slipping it needs to be tightened. I have found belts slipping badly after 50 to 100 miles. I have ended up tightening them two, three even 4 times before they stop stretching. Tightening the belt on a Comptech is a quick proceedure. The Vortech takes a little longer. If you leave the plastic bottom aero piece off the Vortech adjustment goes much quicker.

 

I put about 100 miles on mine before I started 'jumping on it."
