Jeffbrig summed it up best, can't argue with sound math. Numbers don't lie.
You also have to take into account the (subtract) the area of the fan motor - I can't see the video at work, network blocks YouTube >
So I'm guessing this e-fan has some sort of motor right smack in the center. So you gotta subtract that area and the area of the frame that the motor is mounted on. So now the cross-section is less than 7 sq in. Not to mention the turbulence that the frame and motor incur in the air column.....

There's no substitute for proper power adders : turbochargers, superchargers, nitrous, race gas. But I guess if you believe in crap like this go ahead and buy it and be happy

I have seen leaf blowers on full blast pointed directly toward an open TB and not have any gains what so ever on a dyno dyamics.
