e85 conversions?
Here in Nebraska, it's harder to find a station without E85.
For a performance boosted car that's being pushed hard, E85 really is the way to go. It burns cooler, doesn't knock, spools turbos better, allows more timing, and keeps the pistons/combustion chambers cleaner (as in, it cleans all the carbon off!).
My S2000 isn't boosted, but I am converting it to E85 anyway. The gains won't be nearly the same, but it'll be good for hot track days. I converted my STi and SHO to E85 awhile back and would never go back to gas. If I had to, I would buy it by the barrel and pump it from home.

Since you're in Omaha, GO E85!
I converted my Vortech T-trim SHO last year and went from not spinning in 2nd gear, to having no traction in 2nd gear (which was previously regained by bigger, wider, stickier tires while on gas).
I just switched to e85 last night and started tuning my Vortech AP1 on 1 bar of boost (3.8" pulley). So far the only thing I can say is that it really has a high knock threshold. 9 psi felt strong and I haven't even messed with the timing yet. Will try to take it to red line today.

my only problem so far is my closest pump is about 1 hr away. i purchased a 55g drum and will soon purchase a nice pump for it to keep at home. you dont get great gas mileage so if you travel far you have to take a can with you. but to have a quality race style fuel at 3.30$ or so a gal is amazing.
as long as you have the fuel setup to carry it...

DAMN
i wish i could somehow send you gas bro! i have 3 e85 stations within 5 miles of me and the price is currently 2.77 a gallon. this makes me realize how bad i should really convert.
