Thank you sir. What parts would you run for 500. And I won't be going above that. Ever haha.

Do some searches and read up on other folks builds. Lots of guys are making 450ish on stock blocks for a long time.

Oh hell I have heard of a lot of guys making 500+ on stock block and 93 pump. Sticking with as much OEM as you can is the best recipe for reliability with a good tune and proper maintenance. IMO no head studs, the oem ones work, they are already there and i have heard too many stories of they work/they dont work while you know oem is reliable.

The E85 thing is a mystery to me as well, I have been researching it myself lately as an alternative to the 91 pisswater they sell on the west coast. I have heard plenty of stories to its reliability and its dangers but at this point IMO am sticking to pump because you can find it anywhere.

4000 miles on e85 here. fb340 fuel pump and dw1300cc injectors. Makes 507 hp @ 17psi with injectors @ 78% duty cycle.

Pros: love the power and smells better then gas to me.
Cons: fill up every 175 miles. limited gas stations. frequent oil changes.

My injectors run rich at idle. So I change oil ever 1-2k miles. I just bought 24 qts of Brad penn that should get me through to fall.

Help me out here. Before I pull the trigger and start buying parts. I want to know what I should use.

I do not want to put in head studs. I just want to do dual springs and ti retainers.

Is this going to be reliable as my 425whp 93oct setup ?

Does e85 rid longevity of our motors in any way ?

I want to use ID1000cc injectors. And a dual pump setup.

Will 1000 take me to 500hp?

Any input from you guys ? I would like to stay away from a bigger turbo and away from head studs. I'm running an AFI TURBO KIT
I've used more ethanol and tuned more ethanol than I care to remember over the years. If you need any help feel free to ask.

You don't need head studs for 500whp but it's good insurance.

500whp on ethanol is as reliable as you make it. So if it's setup and tuned right, yes.

No, E85 does not lessen longevity as long as it's maintained correctly.

It depends what fuel pumps you use but the ID1000's at the right base pressure should make 500whp no problem.

The 6262 would be more than enough for 500whp. Backpressure will not be an issue.
