E85 idle a/f with flex fuel setup
Yeah same hear. They were no help at all. Said it could be because I'm using windows XP and there software doesn't like XP. Guy said he couldn't help me. Said to get a new laptop and see of that works...grrr
that makes no f@#king sense at all. i use xp on my tuning laptop, albeit with aempro not aem tuner. ehhh, try a friends laptop, if same error, then yeah maybe somethings wrong. i bet its more something with the install being corrupt, and even though you are uninstalling, remnants are still on it.
Yeah I uninstalled it again will try to download it again. Yeah I can't even open aemtuner all the way on my laptop with it not even plugged in.
Do you guys, shut your cars all the way off before unplugging or turning your laptops off?

I'm assuming your car still starts up and runs like it did before? If so, it is unlikely it is an EMS issue.
As a software developer I can tell you that message essentially means that there is a setting/value that is null (which basically means it is not initialized and not set to anything) somewhere that the software is not compensating for and thus is causing the software to fail.
Now this could be in your tuning calibration, something specific to your EMS or something specific to the AEM software install on your computer.
The best way to narrow this down would be to source another computer to use, install the AEM software on it and attempt to see if that works. If it does, then your EMS is fine and you know its something specific to the software install on your machine. If it doesn't work with another computer this likely means it is something specific to your EMS... whether that be something that is easily fixable or not would still be up in the air. I know this might not be easiest or most ideal step to troubleshooting this issue but I think it would definitely be the best next step.
Note: Just because you uninstall and re-install the software doesn't mean that it can't be an issue with the software still. Software often doesn't remove everything when it gets uninstalled and the problem could exist within one of those leftover components.
Based on these two it sounds like you are saying that even without the connection to the car in the equation the software still fails to load and you still get that error. Is that correct? If so that definitely points to the issue likely being with the AEM software install on your computer. This again leads me to highly recommend the process I mentioned above about using a different computer to try and see if that works.

It comes up if I open aemtuner on my laptop. I uploaded a new calibration from my tuner and went to do a log and my laptop died. I plugged my laptop in nd tried to open aemtuner and this pops up in a window. And I can't do anything. I'm just learning aemtuner so this is all new to me.
I thought about trying to redownload aemtuner to see if it goes away. Haven't tried yet.

Lil update, got my laptop fixed and uploaded a adjusted map. Still going lean as the car warms up. But it being cold out when I looked at the Mani after start up I noticed some water dripping on the manifold, spitting out from were downpipe meets the turbo at the vband. So that could be the exhaust leak I been hearing.
Now to get this a/f ratio fixed.
