I am a big fan of METH injection, however E85 wins for keeping it simple. I have had a few small things go wrong with my METH injection, and if I was not always paranoid and checking all the time, I wouldnt have noticed and would have blown my motor

that being said, I have had METH running all the time for the past 2 years or so

Like Neeman I am lazy and when the summer comes along I will be running around 30% Xylene in my gas tank as my car will finally become a weekend toy

I've been doing some research and I'm debating which one would work better in the long run. The nearest E85 station is about four miles from me, so I'm not really concerned with obtaining it easily.

What I really want to know is one actually better than the other? Both are going to require purchased parts (AEM kit or ID1000's) and both are going to require a re-tune on my AEM EMS. Any help would be much appreciated.
E85 is a lot better than meth injection for many, many reasons. All of which can be researched online. Don't do meth injection. E85 is readily available to you. Use it.

What is it that is wrong with meth injection? All I have heard is good things. It seems like the kits are very basic and there is little to go wrong. It seems like a basic process and concept. you just inject liquid into the compressed air to make it cooler.

Water/meth is much more more versatile and arguably better effective in cooling and detonation suppressant over E85. You also don't have to worry about mapping out your road trip to revolve around E85 stations. Water meth can be found anywhere and everywhere. You also don't have to upgrade your fuel system to accommodate it. You could put together your own single or dual stage for under $300. Or pick up a ready made kit for half a dozen different manufactures.
