so using meth doesn't contaminate your oil quicker? how often do you have to change your oil if using e85?

I didn't notice any contamination using the water/meth kit.

You are only using an injector the equivalent of a 550cc injector, and 1/2 with meth, and 1/2 with water.

With E85 you are injecting SO MUCH MORE into the motor, and it WILL contaminate the oil quicker.

I always change the oil in any of my high performance cars about ever 1000 miles.

So if you are asking if using a water/meth injection system contaminates your oil quicker than using E85, the answer is no.

i meant more contamination with water/meth and pump over just pump, sounds like it'd be negligible

Possibly, but like I said, I change my oil every 1000 miles. So in that 1000 miles I didn't notice anything.

For me, if I need more than a water/meth kit allows, I'll go to race fuel from here on out. The fact that I was able to make over 700whp, drive the car everyday, run 9's and get over 20mpg all while having no motor problems makes me happy.

That said, E85 isn't a substitute for race fuel, and neither is water/meth. They are both alternatives to straight pump gas.

When I pulled the motor, you could see the effects. Each cylinder was progressively worse.

was yours spraying all the time?

I wanted something safe to 550whp or so, but I know I wouldn't be able to change my oil every 1k miles. I don't get on it very often, so maybe I can just have my tuner set up to spray meth over 15 psi or something? just trying to figure out a safe way.

It'd cost more to convert to go to e85 than to get a direct port water/meth system set up, from what i'm seeing.

I don't see the benefits of E85 or Meth when you consider MS109 or C16 instead.
