EGT prob on Full Race mani
EGT's are worthless unless you have 1 on each cylinder to compare temps. But if you were to put at least one EGT, it would be best on cylinder #3. The firing order is 1-3-4-2. If you look into that order, cyl. #3 is getting heat soaked by the cylinders firing next to it. Therefore you would want to put your EGT on the hottest cylinder only a couple inches away from the flange.

Are you using an AEM EMS ? If so, I would highly recommend using an egt on each runner because there is a parameter that lets you hook up 4 EGT sensors directly to the EMS. You can log the data or set up a fuel trim based on your exhaust temperature.
