Default EGT - What is a safe range?

Yeah, I am double dipping on this thread - I have the water temp and the oil Temp figured out from the search but these two questions eluded me after two hours of searching the boards!
I am setting the warning function on my Defi gauges and doing my first track event next weekend with a new motor and would like to set safe parameters. Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks in advance.

Thanks Asura,

I was reading the peak numbers after a brisk run and my EGT peak was 7.3 which if my conversion is correct 1328 F.

My oil pressure peak was 7.2 which converted to 104 psi

I am trying to figure out if all this is safe before I push the car - My A/F is 11.2 at WOT

I have no frikin idea, I was told by the tuner it was "on the safe side" although I don't know what that means! I have a friend looking at my base maps now and hope to hear back from him - I don't know where to look on the AEM map!

open aem, sync with ecu by pressing shift+f7
wait for the laptop to download data

click on the spark plug button at the top
you will get igntion tables
trace to 9krpm on the x axix, and to the boost level on the y axis
read the number in the cell and you should have your ignition timing setting

I Thank you for your response but, I do not have a laptop yet! I am at the mercy of the tuner until I get one - is there any way of looking at my basemap to see it? I have that on my computer with the AEM Software!!!

I took the liberty of looking at my timing tables and printed then took a pic, Does this help ?

Thank you for your expertise and time! I was just concerned because my peak EGT's of 7.3.
My tuner did say my tune was safe.
Thanks again for your time.
