I don't see anything inherently wrong with boosting the injector pulse width.
I suspect most adjust ecu inputs instead, tontake advantage of ecu capabilities. By managing an ecu output, you're now taking over co-managing task of monitor efr, and adjusting pulse. Working in tandem w ecu.
More logic and control tasks to take on. So long as you're prepared to manage your pulse, you're good.
