I am actually going to connect to the ECU tommorow and see if the TPS and all is live. Did you have similar problems to mine?

Well guys i think i may have found my problem. It still kinda doesnt make too much sense but im going to tackle it and make sure its correct.

Today at lunch, i decided to jump in the car and see if it magically fixed itself(Wishful thinking right?) When i turned the car on, the pump ran. Didnt start, just cranked. So i got out, pushed all my connectors on tight, tried again. Pump didnt run. So im sitting there thinking wtf. Mabye it has some sort of pressure sensor. Let it sit, went back, pump didnt run. It just makes a clicking sound from the pump area. Then i decided to play with it. Turned the ignition off, and back on quickly. Pump ran, but never stopped priming. It primed as long as i let it. So i shut it off after about 15 seconds of priming. Turned it back on, and it turned on for a second, clicked, turned off, clicked again, turned on, clicked, turned off. didnt turn back on. So something is not correct with my fuel pump. Wether its wiring, or the pump itself. I will be tracing all wires, the fuses, and getting that problem taken care of. Mabye the AEM is just really screwing up...hmmm.

sounds like a ground issue. Check the ground on the back of the head.

mmmmm, i said grounds!, i have fought this issue with several cars, really did not figure out why but this is what we did on several of them and it fixed it and they are still going today, upgraded battery to chassis ground (added a 4ga wire), ran a 4ga ground from alt mounting bolt to drivers side and grounded it, ran a ground from chassis (same spot factory battery ground is) to one of the egr bolts on head. Cleared AEM memory and reloaded tune, hit the button and they started and ran fine, infact it cleared up a shaky idle on a car that ran perfect except the motor shook more than normal.

Well its still being dumb, but i think i have much larger problems. I tried to connect to the AEM, it wont stay connected. It connects, then kicks it off after a few seconds. When the pump does its clicks on and off during priming, it reloads the coms every time. meaning the ECU is shutting on and off. I may very well have a fried AEM.

I checked both grounds. There are really only 2. The back of the head and the subframe. Both are good. My battery is relocated and has a 4guage ground wire which i checked and made sure was tight. Im sending it to my tuner...its very confusing and frustrating.

Well whoever said grounds is the man of the hour. I took all of my grounds off, cleaned them, put them back on. Added a few under the car from the block to the chassis, and it fired right up. Running even better than before! Thanks guys!
