Default Emanage & Harness Question

Has anyone used the Emanage Ultimate to change the VTEC point using Greddy's harness?

What needs to be done in the Emanage Ultimate to properly do this. Should I use the NVCS map, or Aux out? How does the feedback back work. What about the jumper settings are there any that need to be chage, I have avoided opening the case to void warrenty. Does the Emanage harness provided need to be modified?

For those who are reading and who will read this, make sure you mention that you have the Turbo kit harness. Greddy has a full PNP harness for the s2000 also, which is different from the one that came in the turbo kit. The turbo kit harness comes w/ the bare minimum of wires that the car/kit needs.

having that said, the turbo kit harness isn't wired to let the user have the ability to alter vtec engagement. You have to rewire/modify the harness to be able to do this.

Use the auxiliary output map to control Vtec. DL the E. Ultimate operation manual: pg 42

Wire the harness for Vtec adjustment: DL the E. Ultiamte installation manual: pg 14

You might need to change the vtec jumpers inside the unit too...i can't remember what it is setup up with factory, but that's pretty easy.

Using the Aux Map will provide feedback correct?

JP16 Should Be set to 1-2

Anybody got a good factory wiring diagram or pitures of the wires that need to be tapped?

What does this mean I have yet to figure out the advantage?

It requires some different wiring on the harness to allow you to trick the stock ECU into open loop sooner.

Actually, no special stuff required and no real secret either. You need to enable both fuel and both ignition maps. One uses TPS as input and the other using MAP. There is nothing wrong with running boost at stoichiometric ratios as long as the timing is sufficiently retarded. The MAP based table should be used to add a percentage based on the increase in pressure and the throttle maps should be used to maintain 0% fuel trims in the part throttle areas where there is boost. It's as easy as that
