I'm perfectly happy with my Greddy kit. I rode in high HP s2000s and didn't like em. Sure they were fun at WOT, but for DD, Greddy was better for my goal. I wanted an s2000 with what I thought is should have come from the factory with. 330hp and 200ishtq. That's exactly what I got, and don't regret it at all. I respect other kits and think they are cool, but it's not what I was looking for. For me, Greddy was a great choice. It's been almost two years since I've had it in, and I have not had a single problem with it, nor have I done any more maintenance on the car than I did when it was stock.

The Greddy kit for me was a much "SAFER" way to really enjoy a turbo S2000. The torque felt amazing down low and the car really ran out of steam post VTEC. Gears 4-6 were very boring, so for traffic light to traffic light it was awesome. That being said having 580HP is really only fun when you have a WIDE WIDE OPEN road & are not afraid to hit 120mph+ in a matter of seconds........... It's two different types of fun, but both have their own "specialness" to them

again thanks guys, it helps when i hear input, im really restraining myself from just calling up forged or godspeed. Bothy look like good kits of course forged > godspeed IMO but my deal is having a safe reliable car with power and a loud BOV
But definitely still considering the GReddy, but swapping out the e manage for a kpro.

**btw while i still have ppl checking my thread out

Which is considered better? (in your opinions)
AEM, or Kpro?
Which (IYO) would be a better fit with say, the GReddy kit?

The town/county i live in doesn't do emissions testing so i have nothing to worry about with anything. SO let the answers/opinions roll.

For Greddy I would just Keep E-manage and find a good tuner

Ask your tuner what is better.

To add to what others have said, the Greddy kit runs just fine on the E-manage. Even my basemap ran great out of the box. The torque down low is a significant change - romp on the gas at any rpm and it takes off. It's a great improvement to the car.

The thing is, it just doesn't have a lot of top end. Once you get a taste of boost, you'll want more. Greddy is upgradeable if you don't mind messing with it, or paying someone to do it, but that adds more $$.

S/Cs are similar - great improvement, but you'll probably want to upgrade those too. Thus my suggestion would be to plan for that and either expect to upgrade or just buy a stronger kit from the get-go. That's why everyone keeps mentioning Ptuning or Mase.

Two years down the road, you'll spend the same money to have a hybrid Greddy with a GT30, a hopped up S/C, or a turbo kit that already delivered what you didn't know you wanted. We're all posting in this forum because we're all in a constant state of upgrading... You don't have to go through all that if you start with a stronger kit.

I have a Greddy kit and I love it, EMU and all. I just wanted to add a little more punch to my S and thats what I got. Which kit you need to buy depends on you. In your heart, you know if your the guy that will want to continually add hp or if you will be satisfied with 300.

I was 110% certain that I'd feel that way too! Glad to hear that you still do. I never expected to find myself addicted to boost...
