Is ems a must with 7psi pulley on CTSC? or can you adjust something else to make it run ok from the stock CTSC?

planning to install the 7psi pulley first, then save up money for the EMS. but in the mean time how to make the run the 7psi pulley properly until EMS is put on?

thanks in advance!

nope. put the pulley on and strap your car onto a dyno. you'll wanna make sure you're AFR is okay before you start driving around town with it.

you should also try searching, there's been countless threads regarding this very subject.

More than likely you will have to adjust the FPR (fuel pressure regulator) in order to add more fuel with the added boost.

As mentioned above, just take it to a dyno and have them adjust the FPR to a safe level.

I will be doing this soon as I have a new pulley and belt waiting to be put on my Comptech kit.

its not so much gains that you're looking for with a vafc, rather ensuring that you're running safely.

true but by leveling out the a/f ratios you will usually see some nice gains across the rpm band

Isn't there a problem with running a VAFC if you're using the Comptech ESM? I think some people have gotten it to work but make sure you look into it before flushing any money down the toilet.

you can not add fuel with the vafc, it will enter in conflict with the ESM. Greddy emanage is more appropiated, some people use only the FRP with the 7 psi pulley though

There's some conflicting information here as I've read that you can indeed add fuel using VAFC.

Even if thats the case, you can richen up the entire AF curve and go back with the VAFC and lean out the areas that need it. Agreed on the emanage though!
