I have the CTSC with a 7 lb. pulley and am running fine. We simply used the e-management that came with the kit. I do have a VAFC II that I am going to have installed this winter and have it tuned, but have been driving over 5,000 miles with numerous autoX's with no problems.

There's some conflicting information here as I've read that you can indeed add fuel using VAFC.

Even if thats the case, you can richen up the entire AF curve and go back with the VAFC and lean out the areas that need it. Agreed on the emanage though!
if you add fuel with a VAFC there is a conflict with the EMS, using the emanage you can run without the ESM, because the emanage have a feature which allows fool the TB sensor.

If you want to stick with the VAFC you mut add fuel with the FRP and lean the mixture with the VFAC

Save your money and go with AEM EMS. I just got tuned this weekend. FPR all the way down and still running lean up top. Im running comptech with 7lbs no other mods. Getting the EMS will be better in the long run when you decide to go more boost and you WILL want to
