Default EMS question (again)

Quick question, if you unplug your battery for a long period of time (or short time) does it erase the EMS memory (maps)?

That's what I thought. Someone told me their's deleted everything because the battery went dead.

w/peanut butter, I had my battery unpluged for over a month and my ems still fired the car up the first time i hit the start button.

ems cant be deleted unless it was deleted on purpose unless the ems is bad which is rare

Maybe a power surge when you are jumping the car or problem with an power inverter plugged into your cigarette lighter?
