Hmm, I don't have any FI but I kept the car at 240kmh or so for 3 hours in the dark of night on a similar trip from Switzerland two years ago!

So far 105.000km and still ok.

The SC intallation was completely standard no extras at all.

I had the AF checked when I had the car dyno'd and it was OK I don't remember the exact figure.

There is a big difference in the stress on the engine between 240 and 270kph, it may only be 30kph but the increase in wind resistance is greatly increased.

I'll be re-fitting the SC once the new engine is run in!

As long as it's not knock on cylinder 4 you'll probably be OK!

So i take it you had the infamous #4 cylinder/piston failure?Did you by chance change to the updated banjo bolts?If not perhaps that was a contributing factor?Glad to see that you will be reinstalling the blower though!

Yes it was the infamous #4 failure, and yes the oil bolts had been done.
