Default Engine build for 10-12 lbs on S/C?

Long story short, I spun a rod bearing in my motor. I figured while I pull it out and disassemble the motor if there were any boost friendly mods I can do it it while its apart.

I was thinking about a thicker head gasket, but unsure if it would help with only 10-12 lbs going into the motor.

Also somthing to consider is that I will not be running 10 psi right when I get everything running again, this will happen shortly down the line, when I get the supporting EMS and larger injectors.

any adivce/reccomendations is welcomed

Lots of S owners I know (including myself) have had engines build by Laskey's and are very happy with the results.

What kind of builds are you talking about, the full build on there website for $3500 with different pistons and sleeves? Would that be overkill for just wanting to run 10-12 psi?

I guess what im trying to say is that do they just do the full builds that they advertise on their site or they do ones that are less involved/built

Can one of the mods move this to the forced induction forum?

Why not get a 3mm hg and boost more than 12?

You're going to need some sort of engine management to even run 10 lbs. Save on "engine stutf" and just buy and EMS and headgasket and smaller pulley. Hello 14 lbs

I'd suggest calling up Mike and talking to him. He's very helpful and can give you informed answers to your questions while not trying to sell you something you don't need.

Upgraded oil jet bolts would be a great place to start

Either step down to 9psi so you don't need a headgasket, get an emanage maybe some 550 injectors and call it a day OR step up to 15psi, get a headgasket, larger injectors, and an AEM EMS.

the 10-12 range kinda sucks because its between expensive and cheap but leaning on the expensive side.
