I'd think the tune could be done to match....and the air would be just as cold? Trying to think what the problem would be.

I'd love to kick my boost from 7.5psi up to 12-13psi

turbo's hold boost, while centrifugal blowers peak boost. that's the main reason. so you will hold 14 psi longer, I'll just peak it.
