HKS Fcon V Pro requires tuning by authorized HKS dealers/tuners. 90% of the HKS dealers out there can not install, tune, or even service this system. That theoretically ensures high quality and a good tune, but can also mean sky high prices.
The AEM EMS is sold by every AEM dealer out there and can be 'tuned' by any idiot with a laptop. The key here is finding the right idiot who won't blow up your car and can actually do what he claims. Most AEM tuners are not going to provide you with the best possible tune. Be very careful about your choice of tuner. I would ask to ride in traffic in some heavily modified cars that he has tuned. Many of them do good work at WOT, but it all falls apart at part throttle, idle, startup, elevation, and/or temperature changes.
Both of these systems are plug and play. Anything that isn't plug and play, is simply silly in my opinion. The cost outweighs any perceived or real benefits of the other systems.

j/k of course
Listen to this guy, If he had a riding lawnmower he would freakin turbo it.
Tim.
UEGO is the sensor that reads the oxygen in the exhaust gas. It works out your AFR from this.
The original AEM for S2000 (1012) could accept a 5V signal from various UEGOs. I have the AEM UEGO which is a small box that controls a bosch sensor and provides a 5V signal to the ECU.
The later AEM for S2000 (1052) came in two versions. One similar tot he 1012 and one designated by U which has the UEGO controller box built in. Not sure whether it actually came with the sensor or not though.
The AFR can be used during tuning and also as a warning gauge, but there is also an option in the AEM to use the value to alter fuel maps (timing too???) by a certain percentage on the fly.
There are also many gauge optiosn if you wish to view the AFR. THere is a simple gauge that works with the option I have. There is a gauge and controller in one unit. And then there is the serial gauge that plugs into the ECU and can show a number of parameters including AFR.
Confusing huh!

Basically it means that this will compensate if your car is running to rich or to lean, hence keeping you from blowing your engine... check this one out too...http://www.aempower.com/ViewCategory.aspx?CategoryID=67
