So where does the 4k go? 2k for charger and fcon, 1k for tuning and odds and sods, leaves 1k whats that for?

It's only a pain if you don't do it right first time.

If I was to do it all again, I'd be ripping this guys hand off.

if you have the Vortech with stock boost you can travel safety going below 5000 rpm and never at wide open throttle.

first you can check if you are runing lean, somepeople did not have to tune the car, was almost plug and play others where not so lucky

Ok got you now.

Give TDI a call and see what kind of package they can do for you on fitting and tuning, all I can say if you are going to do it, do it right first time, I didn't and its cost more and wasted soooo much time.

Has anyone ever heard of or any experience with an FJO 341B engine management system?? http://www.fjoracing.com/products/341B/ I am going to be turboing my next S2k and have been talking to the tuning shop i'm going to be getting my work done with and this is what they use. They told me that they quit using AEM EMS's about 2 years ago for this system and like it way better. They have told me that it is a little more than the AEM system, but wayyy cheaper to tune. Apparently this system has a very good self-learn feature (better than the AEM one) and after a few pulls on the dyno it has worked alot of the bugs out on its own. These guys are using this system on everything from a 1900HP '67 camaro to a high hp 300zx single turbo setup to a 1000hp civic. All these vehicles are running on pump gas and daily driveable. The guy with the civic has it logged with this system showing that he can still get 53 mpg on the highway going to the cabin every weekend.
