Default Engine problem

CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT?

I have run into a situation with my engine. I bought a used comptech blower with aftercooler aslo with a AEM EMS and little upgrades. I also bought an ALaniz head. Since i got it back i have not run over 7 rpm because i was breaking in my new clutch. Well, i tried to dyno it and but there was something rattling or some kind of sparking NOISE happening after 6 rpm and so some were thinking it was maybe a valve. They knew it was not detonation so that was good. After running a few hundred miles later my engine shut down on me while i was on the freeway. I talked to greg from spugen and he said it sounds like the valve. But my engine still tries to turn over while trying to start... One funny thing that happened when my engine shut down, is that i couldnt put up my softtop right after! But after waiting awhile it went up.

Can you guys help me out of what i should check for?

I highly doubt a CEL was on if he's using an EMS.

A quick and dirty comptession check will tell you if you've got a serious compression loss, either in the valvetrain or rings.

A leakdown test will tell you where the leak is.

The EMS replaces the stock ECU... so therefore no more stock ecu to give CELs

I didn't know you needed to break in a clutch.

I have a brand new clutch put in so it needed some breaking in. Yeah a compression test was recommended. My car is at my place so i trying to figure out which mechanic i can bring it to, since i cant drive it there, its kinda frustrating.

Regarding softtop:

Since they just replaced the clutch, there is a connector under the center console that may have been left disconnected. It's a signal from the handbrake and the connector is a simple spade. When it is not connected, you can't operate the softtop motors.
