Hi all,

Let me start off with the before and after:

Before:
stock block
greddy turbo kit
550cc rc injectors
etc etc.

After:
9.0 compression cp piston/bc rods/sleeved
stock headgasket
1000cc injectors(not sure on brand yet)
built head

So I was wondering if I can reuse my old tune to start up my engine with the exception of changing the injector size/brand in the aem software. This is just to start it up so my mechanic can check for leaks and such. It will then be towed to the tuner. Will it be bad for the engine if I do this?

 

might not start smoothly. but should start it. i wouldnt worry about it breaking anything. just make sure to sync timing and set throttle range before starting it.

 

You will be fine. If you have a wideband just make sure it isn't too fat.
