Default Eps light turned on now car will not start

So I was driving my eps light turned on I pulled over, because I thought maybe I melted the wires since the turbo manifold is so close. When I moved the eps module it all the sudden turned off. Now it turns but it will not turn on at all. First thing I did is check all my fuses because it seems like it may not be getting fuel. Have any of you had this problem or have suggestions on where to start trouble shooting? I would really appreciate it if anybody could help.

I've had the EPS go out due to driving though standing water. It was during a tornado storm and I had to get home to see if I had a house left, but that is a different story. The car drove fine execpt without power steering it was a bitch with slow speeds. After it dried out in a few days it was fine. Not sure how your EPS and fuel are related. Maybe a ground?

Checked the big 70amp EPS fuse and others in the box by the brake booster?
The wire that goes in and out of that box goes to the starter so if you've blown a fuse there it may not start? Just a shot in the dark.
