Default EVAP Cannister delete or manual purge...

I think mine is getting choked and it is not clearing itself.

I looked at the diagram in the Helm and a simple toggle should clear this.

Anyone got that gas stink?

The farthest I've removed the EVAP system is to remove the EVAP purge hose from the intake manifold, it's the only connection to the engine.

The EVAP system is there to recover fuel vapor and burn it through the engine.

If you have a engine performance issue with AEM EMS it's not the EVAP system.

Its not performance. Its the gas vapor build up that SMELLS.

So if I plug the hose to the intake manifold and cap the port will that work? I'd rather leave it on the car for smog.

Plugging the port won't effect the smell. Old car's without EVAP systems had the same issue.

You have to leave the entire system on and functional for CA smog testing.
