First verify that you wide band reading is accurate . Then if it is a retune will be needed . If it isn't accurate then fix it first and go to the 2nd step .

Is o2 feedback on? If so the ems should be pulling fuel to match the target afr. Even removing your exhaust, the ems will do SOMETHING to bring your AFR closer to the target number.

My AFR's at idle tend to swing around a lot especially after starting the car or coming to a stop at a light or something.

If you haven't already, I suggest you download AEMtuner on to a laptop just so you can connect to your ems and check things out.

What is your AFR at idle. Mine is the same as his but tuner says it's necessary for a decent idle. In for some input.

I'm SC if that matters, running ID1000s. My idle is always around 14.2-14.7

Idle afr 14.7-14.9 ALWAYS

cruise/ part throttle afr is also 14.7 - 14.9
