Default exhaust supercharger combo thread

Well I just got a lot more active as I am getting my s2k back from the shop this week new paint job, and am shopping around for an exhaust.

Future plans are to get a KW HB SC. So I figured I'd post this here.

I am looking for something that will give me the best gains, yet be the most sleeper if possible. After reading and researching, single exhaust is def the way to go for gains when boosted. So far all I can come up with is the apexi N1.

Any suggestions thoughts comments or personal experience is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Nick

Asura dual 70MM with the stock AP2 tips or the round ones if you like or T1R 70EM dual or single (evasive motorsports version) big FI gains, no drone , amazing sound @ WOT.....only loud when you want them to be. don't forget to get a 70MM test pipe.

No need to spend a ton of money on an exhaust to get good gains with the s/c. I think the OP of that post said that 63mm looks to be the optimal size.

How can you not agree? The numbers and graphs don't really lie. It's not like there were drastic changes in temperature between dynos. I think it's a little ignorant of you to discredit someone who spent over $3,500 to test and tune different sized exhaust to see what is best. What could he possibly gain from all of this? S/C is a completely different beast than a turbo when exhaust comes in to play.

Titanium dude

The 3" Exhaust Systems are here and in stock.
For SCed and Turbo they make more HP gains.

You will see ~20-22HP gains @ 10-12 psi SCed.

A nicely done header will make a huge difference up top. The dyno runs in the above graph were with the stock header.

With a turbo you will see 25-39HP gains depending on boost.

Is that a single or just part of the dual? Or I should ask how much for single?
