it really depends on your HP goals are.. You should first set a HP goal and then go from there

aems 1052 is not $1000 ( unles in used ) they go for $1300 +

here is the kit brake down.. (

inlinepro kit with extras

just the kit : $4000
EMS: 1400
Upgrade turbo: 500 ( from inliepro )
injestors: 300 + 60 for the clips

$6260

this prices are if you buy the kit from inlinepro....

------------------------------------
now here is the estimate of the other supporting mods

Fuel pump: $100
3" exhaust $675 ( form inlinepro, single exhaust ) for a custom dual is anythign from $900 - 1200

Gauges ( defi : oil pressure, boost, control unit ) $$750 .. you can go cheaper on the gauges...

Installation: anything from $700 - 1000
Tunning : $500 - $1200

with this setup you are looking at 320 - 380 WHP at maybe 7 - 9 PSI

want more HP? cheap option is to go with Head gasket , allow you to put more boost on the engine .. you want to go big? lower the compression by building the block , which is going to cost you anything from $3600 - $4000 + core

Did I forget Any supporting mods?

I think the Inline Pro kit already includes a fuel pump.
And for completeness (though not absolutely necessary I've read?), you may want an oil relocation kit ($195)

Don't forget the clutch! ECT fix, and a bunch of other small crap like adapters, etc.

InlinPro utilizes the OEM fuel pump. In other words, you do not get one with the kit.

first of all, if you get a $300 ebay manifold, it'll crack. you'll need to spend more money on it. installation and tuning will cost alone $2000. when people say turbo costs $6000-$7000, they don't mean parts alone. that's with everything included.

you can get away with $4000 including installation but god knows what you'll end up with. that's if you go with the cheap way like VAFC, keeping the stock exhaust, POS ebay manifold...
