The question to ask yourself is not the amount of boost you want to run, but how much power do you want to make? Once you answer that, then you can decide on what parts you're going to need.

If you have the proper tools and a good working knowledge of motors and how turbos bolt up, you could put the parts on yourself. It takes a lot of time so plan to be down for a while.

Let us know your power goals.

I doubt that the manifold will crack if sent to jethot first.
If you sent it to Jethot first, one of those eBay manifolds will be more likely to crack.

I can understand tuning costs, but for installation, is the Inline Pro kit something that requires a lot of knowledge, or is it mostly bolt-on? Is there an install document that's downloadable somewhere?

And, to compare to say Greddy's kit .. would it be safe to assume that Greddy's kit is easier for a DIY install?

And when you say "everything included", I'm thinking:
- Kit + EMS + injectors
- exhaust
- clutch (necessary immediately?)
- gauges

Potentially necessary:
- wider tires

Is that accurate assuming a setup for under 10psi? Thanks.
6 - 7k will not include everything....

that just for a good kit, with a BB turbo, EMS, injectors, And tune with installation.

now 10 - 11k.

will get you all that +

Custom exhaust
Clutch + install
Good Gauges.
Tires.
Boost Controller ( electronic )
Wideband
EMS Temp fix

Did i forget something?

You need NEw clutch is if you planning to do 10 + PSI

Depends a lot on what power you are looking for...if you are looking at under 400rwhp you are looking at least 9-10k, for something done by a good tuner which will end up being reliable!

Turbo will always turn out to be more than what you predicted so add another $500-1500 for 'extras'

Turbo Kit will cost $4000 (Inline Pro)- $8000 (Lovefab) however the Lovefab kit includes AEM EMS, Injectors and fuel pump.

You will then need:
  • Exhaust - around $900
  • Install - $ 1000 - 1500
  • Tuning - $500 - 1000

    And possibly:
  • Head Gasket - $300
  • Head Gasket install - $500
  • Clutch - $500
  • Clutch install - $600
....... You get the point

otd i anticipate 11,00 being spent in a year for me. This includes full IP kit w/ all upgrades, install. A clutch, exhaust. Tuning, head gasket and gauges. I still think i may be underestimating. I want 450 at the wheels though. Im just worried that I should change the drive train and the rear diff with adding that power. always more stuff down the road that a turbo will throw at you to cost you big $$$.
