S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

Is this false advertising?

Guess it depends on what you want out of your car. I thought long and hard about going turbo, but in the end when i got honest w/ myself it was more of a commitment than i wanted to make. Mine isn't the fastest out there w/ just a SC, but at the same time, it's still pretty damn fast. Just depends on your goals.

Either way you cant go wrong.
I have been in a S/C car and it does feel nice. It does not throw into the seat but it does pull hard.
My car, as soon as I hit 4000rpm, the car just bolts.

Tuff decision, take your time and do what you think is best.

A nitrous kit is best for cheap power/going fast in a straight line applications. Plus there is less wear and tear on the motor (usually).

for instance the bigger pulley w/ no aftercooler and the emanage that comes with the kit...
There is no "emanage that comes with the kit". The kit comes with a device to hide boost from the ECU and a boost dependant rising rate fuel pressure regulator. Please do a bit more research before posting.

nice power though, feels more like n/a then a turbo car. its more easily tamable then turbo do to the no lag. good for track cars
Here we go again.

Call it what you like, but there is far more lag from the SCs than a well spec'd turbo because with the SC there is little to no boost until 5000rpm and even then it is minimal. The LoveFab kit with GT3071R is full boost at 4000rpm.

Sure if you go for some monster turbo you'll get lag but that is a very different kettle of fish.

I would guess he is referring to the linear power curve you see from the SC as opposed to the huge spike in power you see from turbos reaching full boost at 4k

Another reason for some of the different numbers could be California piss gas. I dont know what happened but I only have one gas station in my area that sells the 95 octane any more, I guess my 93 is better than 91.

How are those gains not praisable, you can keep your warranty with it, its a bolt on kit, and 350 crank hp on a 2.0 honda. Dont forget it is a 2.0 4 cyl. (also 2.2)

[QUOTE=gomarlins3,Jan 22 2006, 07:25 PM]I am saving to become boosted and have always wanted a CT SC w/ AC, however I am finding more and more reasons to look elsewhere for a SC or to look towards a turbo.

This is what Comptech's web site says about it's SC:
"you'll feel the burst of acceleration from the additional 95-110 horsepower at the rear wheels.... 340 to 355 horsepower at the crank."

The dyno results I have seen have been on this forum are in the 260-270 range at the wheels.

wow... you guys need to chill out on this sight. im just trying to help a guy out, im not trying to sabotage the site. i was under the impression that the kit comes with emange, ive been told that by other members. plus... why dont you try a little harder fixing the search engine with this site instead of yelling at members.

...a buddy of mine has a lovdfab kit, and i have the comptech... the boost comes in much smoother with the supercharger than the turbo. " Please do a bit more research before posting."

Are you saying you have the Comptech but you didn't know it doesn't come with the E-manage?

Look, all I'm saying is get your facts straight before you post. Otherwise you post misinformation and it spreads. "I read somewhere that the Comptech comes with E-manage".

For your information I have a LoveFab setup. Previously I had a Comptech SC and upgraded it with an E-manage.

I can assure you that the power delivery of the LoveFab is far superior to that of the Comptech and how it comes on is directly related to my right foot.

As for searech engines, what the hell does that have to do with me? I'm a CO in Aus. I've never even met Cthree or the S2ki team. Like I say, get your facts straight.
