PCV works under vacuum only. When you are in boost, it prevents the valve from opening so your motor can't breath, especially when it needs to the most.

On a boosted motor, the easiest way is to just vent the VC breathers to atmosphere by plumbing them into a catch can that separates the oil residue from the air and is allowed to vent.
