Curious about Ferrea ti-retainers vs supertech.... in terms of compatibility with each other.
I've got supertech valves/dual springs/ti retainers but I prefer Ferrea
Specifically I like the Ferrea retainer better because it has no edge/fault lines in the design for cracks to occur on. In my experience cracks almost always form on these lines, thus I expect suepertech is slightly inferior.

Let me know if you want to get rid of some of your supertech stuff. I am putting ferrea valves/supertech everything else in my next built head.

I'd probably run my stuff for 30k before I did it, honestly I'd have to hand you USED ti- retainers man in fear of the worst occurring but if that changes and it's sooner I'll give you a shout first.
I'm a fan of their valves and prefer them too but I'm surprised you would prefer the supertech retainers, though my actions are from visual inspection only of the products.
No concerns on fitment for either of us if I was to swap em out?
Also, I've got my ap2 stock springs, retainers, valves with low miles if anyone needs.
How'd the oil jets work btw? Everything good?

As quoted by Realstreet, "What year is your car? If it is a 2004 or earlier you can run the stock ones. The later years had different keepers but unfortunately it's hard to tell when they changed."
Mine is yr 2000, but went with Ferrea keepers anyways. In comparison, the Ferrea keepers is slightly larger/beefier.
