Thanks for the advice.. question tho.. i've seen a handfull of used AP2 MY04-05 Comptech S/C's sell for about $3200 on the for sale section. If I bought one of these what additional part would I need to make it work on my 06? A greddy e-managment? thanks again
Not much of the PY Comptech supercharger kit changed for the MY06. The biggest change with the kit is some additional electronics equipment. If you could purchase this equipment seperately, you could buy a used PY kit.

with $5000 you can easily pick up one of the used inline pro turbo kits selling on the board for under $3k, get yourself an AEM EMS, and be on your merry way to an easy 300rwhp. Then one day when you upgrade the fuel system you can have 400-500rwhp with ease.
You cannot use an AEM EMS on an MY06 without a special wiring harness, which Mike @ AutoWave has designed. Also, you cannot use any run of the mill AEM EMS--you have to use the one that was made for an RSX.

lol 06 is so expensive. some member have actually trade it in for an 05 for better options.

Exactly what I did, even worse in the UK as the S still has the F20C and no one with tuning experience

Thing that sucks about trading it in if you had bought your 06 from the dealer is no smog for 5 years unless you live in area where there is no smog regulations. Then you get stuck with an 05 you have to get illegally smogged or pull off the turbo everytime you have to smog unless you can find an 05 brand new from the dealer which good luck in finding.

Why tho? If I buy a used kit for 3k.. a used ems for 1k, install it myself and get it tuned for at most 1k.. thats a total of 5k.. what else would i need? i dont want to push high numbers (just 300whp) so why wont it work? what else would I need for just a turbo setup? i know ill need a stage 3 clutch as well but i was already planning on getting one once my stock one wears out.

one more question... would i need a aem ems or will the greddy e-manage do just fine?

You have to buy an AEM EMS for an RSX, along with a wiring harness made by Mike @ AutoWave. At one point I believe Phillie was going to sell this setup--you could PM him and find out.
