thank you..so in other words an emanage wont work? and what MY-RSX should the ems be for?
I am not sure about e-manage. Here is the model number for the AEM EMS: 30-1030 or 30-1030U (if you want internal UEGO).

Why tho? If I buy a used kit for 3k.. a used ems for 1k, install it myself and get it tuned for at most 1k.. thats a total of 5k.. what else would i need? i dont want to push high numbers (just 300whp) so why wont it work? what else would I need for just a turbo setup? i know ill need a stage 3 clutch as well but i was already planning on getting one once my stock one wears out.

one more question... would i need a aem ems or will the greddy e-manage do just fine?
O.k. you buy a used AEM EMS for $1k. Now you'll need to buy the harness to make it work on our cars for about $800-$1k and if you don't live in Cali or around Cali to have it tuned and installed by Mike forget it. He won't sell it to you unless he changed his mind from last time I talked to him. Or you can wait till the other EMS comes out which you'll have to talk to 2QYK4U. You'll probaly need some guages and another $1k for that just incase because that "just incase does happen when these kits aren't made for the 06. You'll most likely will want and aftermarket exhaust which will cost $700 and up. Also you'll be needing tires soon after!

K i do live in cali and i have all the na bolt ons already with full suspension and 9.5 inch rims in the back so I have that covered. I guess my only extra expense would be getting the harness which is still acceptable under my budget. I wont be getting anything for another 2-3 months, im just doing my research right now. Hopefully aem will have an ems out for the 06 models by then. HOPEFULLY

My entire turbo setup is going to be less than 6K. It gets installed next weekend. If you're thrifty you can do it cheap - you just have to buy nice, used parts.

As for the supercharger - I don't know about you but 5-6K for only 80 horsepower seems a little silly. Get a used supercharger kit or go turbo

AEM will not be making an EMS specifically for the MY06+ S2000. AEM used my S2000 to R&D an CAI for the MY06+ S2000, and decided there wasn't enough demand so they decided not to go to production with it. They also stated that they would not make an EMS for the MY06+ because of the DBW.

See you're lucky because you have an AP1.. big difference between the 06 models and the pre-06 models. I guess my setup will end up costing as much as yours because ill be doing the install myself

Yes I decided to keep the AEM EMS. I've been so busy with the new baby and quitting smoking. I use to smoke and drink while I work on the S but now that I don't smoke its hard to go about it differently but I am.

As for aem making an ems for the S, it won't happen. They didn't even make one for the NSX. The same guy that made the harness for the one I have made the one for the NSX. Your best bet is to get ahold of Mike and work with him.
