Default FI water/oil temp question

Hi Everyone,

I've recently installed the KW high boost kit on my car. But I'm having really bad over heating problem. Just wonderin what do you guys get for water & oil temp while NORMAL DRIVING and TRACKING. Any input is appreciates it.

Under 95 degree hot day, normal driving 65 mph on Freeway with A/C on. I got 245 water temp and 240 oil temp.

Engine and cooling mods.
KW high boost kit
Toda header heat wrapped
Stock cat
70mm ASM Ti catback
ARC radiator
Mugen low-temp thermostate
Gizzmo intake manifold gasket
It's 06 AP2

**Thermostate is new. Changed the radiator cap two times from 1.1bar to 1.5bar. Problem still haven't resolve.

Thank you.

Bad thermostate maybe? If its the only other thing you changed besides the kit I would point the finger at the new parts???

I know I am not FI, but I had a mugen thermostat and it was constantly sticking. it would overheat for a while and all of a sudden it would drop back to normal for a little while then go back up. I really don't like the mugen thermostat to much anymore. Try to put your stock thermo back in and see if that will help. Hope you get every thing back in order and I hope this post helps.

keep us updated!!! please.

Is your system properly bled? Make sure you have no air in it. Other than that I haven't heard of many sc guys having heat issues.

Coolant temp in your scenario 185-190. Oil temps 185-195.
