Personally if it was my car an engine tq dampener wouldn't be high on the mod list (not to mention they're not cheap). Maybe that's just me, but I'd suspect many people would agree with me. If the CDV isn't bothering you now you might not notice removing it. Personally I couldn't stand it when I got my s2k and removed the CDV, but if it doesn't bother you I wouldn't bother removing it.

I would never run a modified car without an external wideband. And I would never run boost without at least a boost gauge. Especially with a supercharger, if you ever run into problems down the road, it will be MUCH easier to diagnose whats going on under the hood if you know what your AFRs and boost pressure is.

Hypothetical situation: Say you feel low on power all of a sudden, instead of only knowing "well it feels slower" you could see that the AFRs are super rich up top, and the boost gauge is only reading about 10psi compared to 12psi, so you likely have a slipping belt at high rpms.

Other things that I would consider useful to know are IATs and fuel / oil pressure. Its up to you what parameters you would prefer to keep an eye on, but I would consider a wideband and boost gauge to be mandatory for highly modified cars like this.

I'm currently piecing together my S/C kit as well, and other than what you have already purchased, most of the extra stuff is just making the car "boost ready." Any small problems I currently have will only be amplified with boost, so fixing all of those problems first is also mandatory in my book. This includes fixing the bump steer issues I have, installing driveshaft spacers, valve adjustment, new retainers / keepers, all new fluids etc.

If we're mentioning gauges I'd also add EGT to that list as well. While not as important as boost or AFR imo, it's still very helpful for diagnosing when something's wrong. If you have something like a PLX/multi gauge, just add another "sensor" so you don't have another gauge in your face.

just get the serial gauge from AEM. since your running a AEM V2. That way you can monitor all those things through one gauge. If you think this list is bad you should see what happens when you go turbo. The list never ends. Yeah I would say if the CDV isn't bothering you don't replace it. I didnt take mine out. I got a Twin disc which came with a hydrolic throw out baring and also lightend flywheel. Definatley atleast get the boost and wideband gauge if your going to add the supercharger and dont' want to get the serial gauge.

As mentioned above you will need a new map sensor. Atleast a 3 bar map sensor. I went with a 4 bar omni one.

I have a 3 bar sos one for 2000-2005 that I can't use if you need it. Let me know I can find it.

So i found this gauge on SOS website and it says "It has the ability to read 19 channels simultaneously to provide reference for all outputs, including boost, AFR, EGT, H2O, IAT, knock, volts, RPM, vehicle speed"

If i get this, do i need to get an Oil pressure gauge as well or this will do it ?

And yes, i am going to be using AEM EMS.

You will need an oil pressure sensor. Not sure about your version of your EMS, but with my 1052U, I can view my oil pressure on the serial gauge.
