Default pulley size?

Stupid question but I'm really a noob. And we all have to start somewhere. Bought a supercharged s2000 but don't know how much psi I'm boosting. Trying to figure out the pulley size hut don't know which pulley to measure. Boost gauge was messed up when I bought car and I didn't realize it. The boost gauge only shows the vac pressure. When I step down for full throttle it goes up to 0 but won't go up to any psi. So I'm trying to figure out pulley size to figure out how much psi I'm actually boosting. Pics would be great. Thanks.

The above posts should give you the info that's needed.

Both members are pretty legit that have posted, the latter of them is considered a s2k supercharger guru on this forum and on a few other forums for that matter.

The gauge will stay at zero when your in boost. The needle will then move to the number alt the top to tell you your boost pressure. I'm assuming you have an AEM gauge?

Unless you have a digital gauge...then if it is staying at 0, you have a boost leak...and a big one....should not be hard to find.

Don't think I have a boost leak. I don't have a aem boost gauge. Got a autometer one. But why would boost stay at 0 when I'm in boost?

How do you know you are in boost? Is the gauge digital or analog? If analog check the vacuum line going to your gauge to make sit it is connected.

buy a cheap gauge from advance, run a line into the car and check your pressure under full throttle to 9/8k(ap1/ap2) and see what you get. then return the gauge and save up for an aem unit.

info gained for free.
